Aloo Tikki Burger
Serves: 4 burgers
 
Ingredients
  • Burger buns - 4
  • Aloo tikki / potato cutlet - 4
  • Cucumber / kheera - ½ cup, grated
  • Cabbage / patta gobhi - ½ cup, grated
  • Carrots / gajar - ½ cup, grated
  • Cottage cheese / paneer - 1 tbsp, cut into small pieces
  • Salt - ½ tsp or to taste
  • Black pepper - ¼ tsp
  • Mayonnaise - 3 to 4 tsp
  • Oil - to roast burger buns
Instructions
  1. Mix all the veggies in a mixing bowl and slightly squeeze them.
  2. Add mayonnaise, black pepper, salt and mix well.
  3. Fry aloo tikki.
  4. Slit the burger buns from the middle.
  5. In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil and place burger buns on the pan.
  6. Once buns turn a little brown, remove them on a plate.
  7. On the lower part of bun apply 1 or 2 tsp of the veggies paste.
  8. Place a layer of chopped onion, slice of tomato, hot aloo tikki and close the burger with upper part of bun.
  9. Serve with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
