Onion Bhaji - How to make Pyaz Bhaji | Pyaj Pakoda
 
Ingredients
  • Gram flour - 1 cup
  • Onion - 2
  • Turmeric - 1 pinch
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch
  • Red chili - ½ teaspoon
  • Water - to make solution
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - for frying bhajia
Instructions
  1. Peel the onion and cut it into thin long pieces.
  2. In a bowl add gram flour, 1 teaspoon of hot oil, turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder and salt and prepare a thick batter.
  3. Now add chopped onions and mix it.
  4. Heat the oil in the pan and pour a little mixture of gram flour and onion carefully into the pan with a spoon or by hand.
  5. Deep fry on medium heat until golden.
  6. Take out the onion bhajiya on tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve hot kanda bhajiya by sprinkling chaat masala on top.
