  • Cloves - 10 to 12
  • Coriander seeds- 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 5 tbsp
  • Green cardamoms - 5
  • Dry ginger - 2 pieces
  • Mace - 2 teaspoons
  • Cinnamon sticks - 5 pieces
  • Bay leaves - 2
  • Nutmeg - 2
Instructions
  1. Place all the spices in the sun to dry.
  2. Grind the dried spices such as nutmeg, dry ginger, and cinnamon sticks in a grinder until powdered finely.
  3. Now, add the remaining spices to the grinder and grind them to make a fine powder.
  4. Store the prepared garam masala in an airtight container and use as required.
