Cucumber Raita Recipe - Kheera Raita
 
Ingredients
  • Yogurt - 250 grams
  • Cucumber - 1
  • Roasted cumin powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - ¼ teaspoon
  • Fresh coriander - 1 tablespoon finely chopped
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon or as per taste
Instructions
  1. Whisk the yogurt (dahi) well.
  2. Wash and peel the cucumber (kheera), then grate half of it and finely chop the other half into small pieces.
  3. Squeeze out the water from the grated cucumber.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the whisked yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped cucumber, roasted cumin powder, and black pepper powder.
  5. Add salt and finely chopped fresh coriander (hara dhaniya) according to taste, and mix well.
  6. Enjoy the refreshing cucumber raita with your meal.
  7. Note: Raita is a yogurt-based condiment commonly served with meals to add a cool and refreshing element to the taste.
